Academic posts in order to enrich research and development skills and vision. Then responsibilities on research and development projects.

What does a typical day at work involve for you?

Problem identification, solution exploration, team communication, strategy decision, system design, resource management, project management, documentation.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

Patented electronic devices, location-based service solution design and development, cutting edge solution on wildlife tracking when at Microsoft Research, and Directorship of Research and Development activities in my current role.

How would you say Brunel helped you to get where you are today?

By providing a challenging environment in which achievements would require handling of multi-aspect problem solving efforts.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

I received industrial sponsorship as well as studentship.

What is your best memory of studying here?

Skydiving days with the Brunel Skydiving Society.

If you could give one piece of advice to new students, what would that be?

Follow your passion, do more, and learn from mistakes; the joy is in standing up after each fall.

What would be your top tip or advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey?

Fly high, where you have never been before.
