Sab is a former entrepreneur with commercial experience in tech start-ups from pre-seed to post-exit. He is lucky to have lived and worked in 6 countries in the oil industry, agriculture and financial services.
He co-founded eCow (registered as Wolfhound Analytics), nominated by Futurology Life as one of London’s most innovative agtech companies. eCow creates IoT sensors for the cow's stomach to assist researchers and dairy farmers disease prevention and diet optimisation. He has led a team of five, raised angel investment, secured contracts with governments and research institutes in the US & Australia. After the life of his lifetime as a full-time entrepreneur, Sab had to take a pragmatic decision and close this chapter.
Most recently, Sab has joined Mendix, a Siemens company that is leading the low-code space. He is now helping large enterprises keep up with the pace of change by delivering digital solutions much faster and with less resources than with traditional software development. Sometimes he wonders where eCow could be today if it would have leveraged the power of low-code.
Sab joined Brunel Hive as an EIR to support aspiring entrepreneurs with business models, go to market strategies, sales and act as a sounding board as needed.
Sab holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Bath and is a proud alumnus of Aspire Academy.
