Summary
As a brief introduction, I am a Doctoral researcher focused on lean hydrogen combustions. I am very proud to work on an industry-funded project at Brunel University London on modelling, simulating and developing a dedicated H2ICE engine, for the first time ever!I have also been privileged to work on multiple funded projects, such as the United Kingdom Digital Research Infrastructure Net-Zero workshop series (funded by the UKDRI), or the Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics simulation of a water droplet, funded by Brunel University.Previously, I was honoured to collaborate with Mapna Electric & Control engineering Manufacturing (MECO) with a team of talented professionals (whom each excelled at their profession), within a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-disciplinary working environment, our team worked on condition monitoring of heavy-duty gas turbines. My responsibilities were to monitor and evaluate the performance of the MGT-40 heavy-duty gas turbine capable of delivering 42MW of power. For which we used a vast set of tools, from deep learning AI to Intelligent Condition Monitoring Systems, Gas path analysis, HGPA's, turbine inspection, thermodynamics and etc. to ensure the stakeholder had their assets running on optimum efficiency and performance.Prior to MECO, I had the incredible opportunity to work as a researcher at KNT University of Technology's heat transfer laboratory. Where we worked on building and manufacturing a Stirling engine with great potential towards enhancing it into a fully automatic-controlled CHP (Combined Heating and Power generation). And before that, I had the chance to dedicate myself as a research assistant at the Iran University of Science and Technology, where I coded and developed a simulation sub-code to model gaseous direct fuel injections within KIVA-3V.
