Medical Sciences in Coeur d'Alene
The Medical Sciences degree in Coeur d’Alene provides an option for students in northern Idaho to pursue a B.S. degree in a healthcare-related field without leaving the area. This builds upon the long-standing relationship between the 果冻传媒麻豆社 and North Idaho College to merge course work in the NIC Pre-Medical Related A.S. degree and the U of I Medical Sciences B.S. degree.
The B.S. in Medical Sciences includes an interdisciplinary curriculum that prepares students for admission to professional programs in a variety of healthcare-related fields (e.g., medicine, ophthalmology, pharmacology, etc.), biomedical research, or allied professions such as healthcare administration, policy or science writing. The Medical Sciences degree may also fit well with the interests of students in NIC healthcare-related professional programs such as dentistry, radiology technology, physical therapist assistant and medical lab technology.
Both campuses have dedicated advisory offices in place to help students at all stages plan and execute their transfers. View an example four-year plan to see how the degree can be accomplished in Coeur d’Alene through a combination of courses at NIC, U of I Coeur d’Alene and online.
