The Social Work Division scooped up the Best Team Effort award for the College of Health and Life Sciences at the 2017 Teach Brunel College Awards this July.
Social Work at Brunel was recognised for its commitment to student-centred teaching and learning, and for achieving high levels of student satisfaction. Student feedback this year highlighted the positive working relationship between students and academic staff, and the team’s focus on supporting students’ learning and personal development.
Professor Holly Nelson-Becker, Dr Mike Thomas, Dr Alison Cocks and Dr Yohai Hakak were delighted to accept the award on behalf of the Division at the Teach Brunel Awards Ceremony and Dinner on Monday 3 July.
