Unconventional professional journeys

After training and practising as a social worker in Canada, Julia Lynch moved to practice in the US and then moved again to the UK.

While during her many years of work, she was employed by statutory and voluntary organisations, she gradually realised she would like to form her own unique organisation. In her lecture, Julia Lynch spoke about her professional journey and about the Global Girl Project she started about six years ago.
The project aims to help young girls from developing countries to develop their leadership and community organising skills. You can listen to Julia describing her professional journey and the here.
