Classes
A large part of our mission at the 果冻传媒麻豆社 Food Technology Center (FTC) is to educate and assist food companies with food related issues as well as make the facility, equipment and training available to entrepreneurs that wish to produce packaged food products for resale. For entrepreneurs or small food processors wishing to utilize the full services of the FTC, we ask that everyone first complete at least one of the following prerequisite courses designed to provide the basics of operating a food production company; including, but not limited to, basic business knowledge, food safety, labeling and government regulations, and what to expect as your business grows ($150).

Option B — In Person (one day class): Developing Your Food Product Idea: Getting Started in a Food Business, Friday, April 25, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (lunch will be provided). Class registration form (pdf) to be emailed to ftc@uidaho.edu.
Based on your products and/or process, there may be additional training required by the 果冻传媒麻豆社, the FDA or Idaho Department of Health and Welfare before legally manufacturing your product.
