Michael is an Associate Clinical Professor of Theatre Arts in Technical Direction at the 果冻传媒麻豆社, where he oversees all aspects of the production phase for each play at the 果冻传媒麻豆社 as well as teaching classes in scenic technology.
Prior to joining the 果冻传媒麻豆社, Michael served as the Technical Director/Designer and Theater Manager for the Theatre Arts department at Bellevue College, Washington and the Technical Director and Designer, for Bellevue Youth Theatre.
He earned his BA in Performing Arts from Iowa State University and an MFA in Theatre Arts: Design & Technology from the 果冻传媒麻豆社. In 2016 he participated in a month-long summer training program in scenography at the prestigious Moscow Art Theatre in Moscow, Russia and in 2015 attended an 8-week program at the Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Recent adventures include designing props for Village Theatre Kidstage's School of Rock, designing scenery for Bellevue College's The Fantasticks, and designing scenery and lighting for Bellevue Youth Theatre's Bobby's World of Adventure.
Michael is a member of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT).

Michael earned his B.A. in Performing Arts from Iowa State University and an M.F.A. in Theatre Arts: Design & Technology from the 果冻传媒麻豆社.
A theatrical Swiss Army Knife, he designs puppets, props, and scenery and does technical direction and carpentry whenever he can. Recent adventures include designing puppets for Coeur D'Alene Summer Theatre's "Little Shop of Horrors," designing scenery for Idaho Repertory Theatre's "Master Harold... and The Boys" and "Love and Baseball" and creating puppets with sticks, leaves, and hot glue with the PCEI Nature Explorers.
