Coeur d'Alene Materials

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Cultivating Relationships (CR) Teacher Professional Development with the Coeur d'Alene Tribe! Are you a teacher who serves Coeur d'Alene students? Would you like to diversify your approaches to STEM curricular integration through a deeper understanding of the Coeur d'Alene people's relationships to people, place, lands, and waters? Join our Teacher Professional Development Program and get the chance to learn alongside an eight person cohort of educators. Participating teachers will earn a 15-credit professional development certificate, receive a $5000 stipend, and shape innovations in STEM curriculum to ensure sustainable futures for all learners in K-12 classrooms! Please see the flow chart below for a detailed overview of the CR process.

Priority Selection of applicants are 1) tribally enrolled teachers affiliated with Coeur d'Alene or Other tribe; 2) in-service teachers serving in schools located on or near the Coeur d'Alene reservation; 3) teachers who demonstrate a commitment to serving schools on or near the Coeur d'Alene reservation, who have high populations of Indigenous students.
