Al Wallace Environmental Engineering Assistantships
Support students interested in hands-on research activities alongside nationally recognized civil and environmental engineering faculty in key areas, including water reclamation, wastewater treatment and other areas of environmental engineering.
Modern Laboratories
Modernize laboratories, attract students and enable hands-on learning. Transform laboratory and learning spaces into teaching and research centers with broad capabilities to enable students to address a wide range of challenges in the Pacific Northwest.
Student Success
Provide students the critical financial support they need to fully immerse in the engineering education experience. Civil engineering students connect to career pathways through internships, cooperative education, and involvement with student organizations like our Humanitarian Engineering Corps, ASCE Concrete Canoe and AISC Steel Bridge competition teams.
Sorenson Family Endowed Chair in Water Resources
Support an outstanding faculty member with both real-world experience and demonstrated research excellence to provide the next generation of civil engineers with the skills they need to solve tomorrow’s problems and advance society. The current Sorenson Family Endowed Chair in Water Resources is Erik Coats, Ph.D.
