Fire Safety Certificate
In this online certificate program, you will be able to work around your schedule to complete courses and experience engaging and interactive videos, discussion and activities with other professionals around the country. The courses have been designed to help students become familiar with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and International Fire Code (IFA) standards and codes.
Program Description
The Fire Safety Certificate will prepare the student for a career in the fire protection field. The certificate program requires 18 credit hours. Courses are offered on a regular rotation.
Possible outcomes of the certificate programs may include professional development, training toward certification (such as NFPA Fire Protection Specialist, Certified Fire Protection Specialist or Fire Inspector) and/or industrial loss prevention specialist training.
Program faculty include certified fire inspectors, Fire Chiefs or other fire protection professionals with decades of combined experience.
