U of I College of Science to host free hands-on scientific experience Oct. 4

October 02, 2024

MOSCOW, Idaho — ¹û¶³´«Ã½Â鶹Éç’s College of Science invites aspiring scientists to attend Vandal Science Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center on campus in Moscow. This event promises an engaging day of discovery through hands-on workshops, presentations and interactive learning experiences led by College of Science faculty members and students.

Vandal Science Day organizers hope the event inspires the next generation of scientists. This event is open to people of all ages but is targeted at high school students and their families. All participants will have the chance to engage in activities directly from professors leading innovative projects.

This unique experience, which is free and open to the public, allows students to explore various scientific fields and see real-world applications of their studies.

In addition to the enriching experiences, attendees can enter a drawing for a chance to win a $500 Vandal Science Day Scholarship, a gift basket and other prizes.
