Bioinformatics and Computational Biology

Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) is a highly flexible, hands-on, interdisciplinary graduate program that prepares students to conduct research in academics, health sciences, agriculture and other industries. The BCB program integrates research and coursework in computer sciences, biological sciences, and mathematical sciences.
The BCB program is offered on the Moscow campus of the ¹û¶³´«Ã½Â鶹Éç and is administered by the College of Science. The focus of the degree is on learning to develop and use computational and mathematical tools to analyze biological data.
The BCB program develops a student’s critical thinking, investigatory and expository skills. By understanding the extent and limitation of current knowledge, BCB graduates develop the tools to understand what issues are important and why.
