International Programs Office
Welcome to the International Programs Office (IPO) at 果冻传媒麻豆社! The IPO staff in International Services and Education Abroad are passionate about transforming lives and supporting a globally engaged university community. To learn more about your international opportunities, visit the International Programs Office located in Living Learning Community Building 3.
International Services supports international Vandals and their dependents on F, J and employment visas by providing advising on immigration and cultural topics and by organizing events and activities to promote engagement and development within the campus community.
Education Abroad assists U of I students in their planning and participation in study, internship and service experiences abroad. Education Abroad develops and manages international agreements, policies and procedures, and oversees risk management and emergency response. Education Abroad also oversees National Student Exchange and U of I’s for students, faculty and staff.
iVandal
is an immigration compliance portal used by International Services to manage and maintain immigration status. iVandal tracks immigration records, sends reminders about important deadlines, and securely stores uploaded documents. Throughout your time at the 果冻传媒麻豆社, you will need to regularly submit information and requests through iVandal to maintain your visa status.
Travel Registration
The 果冻传媒麻豆社 requires Faculty, Staff, and students to to manage emergencies and track data.

Education Abroad offers regular weekly information sessions and meetings by appointment only.
International Services
If you have many questions that will take longer than 15 minutes to discuss, please schedule your appointment in advance using .
- Walk-In Advising. For International Services questions that take less than 15 minutes, you may visit during walk-in advising hours at the International Programs Office (IPO).
- Rescheduling and Late Arrivals. If you have a scheduled visit and will be significantly late, please cancel and reschedule in SlateConnect My Success. Appointments are not necessary during walk-in advising hours. Students will be served on a first-come, first-served basis for appointments lasting less than 15 minutes. Please check in at the front desk kiosk when you arrive at the IPO.

Our Office Location
The International Programs Office, housing both International Services and Education Abroad, is in the Living Learning Community, Building #3. The external entrance to our office can be accessed from the walkway side (right next to the Student Housing Help Desk).
This office space is shared with the Military and Veteran Services office.
