About Leadership and Counseling
The 果冻传媒麻豆社’s College of Education, Health and Human Sciences Department of Leadership and Counseling encompasses five outstanding graduate programs that continue to grow and produce outstanding leaders, in higher education as well as in business organizations. Graduates become superintendents, principals and higher education administrators. Doctoral graduates are prepared for specialized positions in education and to provide administrative leadership. Most graduates are hired in public school district offices, universities and private institutions and companies. Instruction may be live in Boise or Coeur d’Alene, online or web-assisted to accommodate the schedules of working professionals. Program enrollment is open and students can begin with any course and take up to 12 credits before degree program admission.
Leadership and Counseling
Bridges research and practice for educators, citizens and policymakers with relevant academic coursework, field experiences, professional development and consultation.
Delivers high-quality graduate degree programs to state, region, nation and global practitioners via multiple platforms — live, online and web-assisted. Its faculty members and support staff are highly trained professionals who are dedicated to providing programs within a research-intensive university environment. Program locations are campus- and center-based in facilities that include state-of-the-art technology and instructional materials.
Maintains an extensive outreach effort to rural communities and practitioners and offers on-site and distance learning that advance the performance of rural schools and that sustain the relevancy and build the capacity of rural education in Idaho.
Prepares degree-seeking and certification-oriented candidates in an environment built on compassion, competency and transformational leadership. Its programs are standards-based, needs-focused and, where necessary, fully accredited. Through ongoing internal and external assessment, each program maintains its professional and public policy relevancy.
Provides timely public policy research to elected officials, government agencies, professional organizations and other stakeholders that interprets and predicts educational reform and provides guidance to decision-makers on state, regional, national and global issues that impact education.
