Potential teacher candidates are considering a teaching career and looking into program offerings, getting a feel for what needs to be done, locating information to help them decide if this is right for them, taking necessary initial steps or preparations, etc.
Current teacher candidates are those accepted into the Teacher Education Program and work through the process to become a certified teacher through any of the U of I programs. Designed as a guide, this section outlines the steps required for program completion.
