Services Provided By Our Office

Agency Financial Aid Verifications

We provide financial aid eligibility and cost of attendance information to agencies where students have applied for financial assistance. Complete the student portion of the agency's form and send to our office for completion.

Default and Loan Repayment:
We will work with students to resolve previous federal loan problems and provide information to students concerning their rights and responsibilities as a borrower. Complete Exit Counseling when you drop below half time attendance through to learn about the options for loan repayment. You can also set up an individual appointment to discuss your situation in more detail with our office.

Personal Counseling:
We assist by providing information and referrals to various on and off-campus resources.

Emergency Short-Term Loan Program

Short-term loans may be available in emergency situations where unexpected expenses occur without available resources to pay for them. To be eligible, a student must be enrolled at least half-time and in good academic standing. The maximum amount is typically $600, and students must demonstrate ability to repay the loan within 90 days. These loans are available up to three days before the end of the semester.

We assist students and families in the completion of all financial aid-related forms such as the FAFSA, scholarship applications, etc., whether for attendance at the 果冻传媒麻豆社 or other schools. This is done both on an individual basis as well as a workshop format. This service is free of charge to all participants.

Student Employment

Job Location and Development Program:
Our job locator works with the local business community to develop part-time and summer jobs off-campus. Referrals and additional information are available on our online off-campus job listing. You DO NOT have to be eligible for financial aid to participate in this program.

Work-Study:
Student Financial Aid Services assists students who have received a financial aid work-study award in finding an appropriate campus work position where they can earn their award. In addition, the office counsels students if problems arise as part of their employment.
