Auxiliary Services

Auxiliary Services is a diverse team of service units providing the university community essential resources needed for a vibrant campus life. Supporting our students, faculty, staff and guests, Auxiliary Services oversees a wide range of operations including:

Administrative and Business Operations

“Admin and Business Ops” provides stewardship of multi-use facilities, including the Kibbie Dome, ICCU Arena and Pitman Center, and the administration of conferences, events and activities.

Idaho Eats is a team of experienced culinary and hospitality professionals dedicated to supporting students, employees and the Vandal community at large. Maintaining the campus' dining locations, Idaho Eats is the university's provider of residential dining, retail restaurants as well as our Craved & Crafted Catering service.

Campus Housing and Residence Life

Housing and Residence Life includes campus residence halls, apartments and family housing. Operating seven residence halls and multiple apartment communities, Housing is home to over 2,000 students, students with families, staff and faculty.

With more than 250 professional and student employees, U of I Housing and Residence Life is one of the largest employers in Auxiliary Services.

Campus Mail

U of I Campus Mail is responsible for the on-campus collection and distribution of U.S., foreign and interdepartmental mail and packages.

Concessions

Auxiliary Services operates all traditional concession stands during athletic events, concerts and some events at 果冻传媒麻豆社. Additionally, the concessions group operates at U of I Golf Course, Joes' Corner Market and the Soda Spout at the ISUB.

Local boosters and organizations assist in running the concession stands as part of their fundraising efforts, so all purchases made at campus concessions help support local area groups.

Conferences

Conference Services provides full-service conference support and management all year-round. Our Summer Conference program provides attendees the convenience of staying on campus and the opportunity for participants to bond through living together. We offer housing, dining and facility accommodations for groups of five to 1,000 guests.

Our Cultural Events teams oversees the booking, ticketing, facilities and even stage management of concerts, performances, theatre productions and dance events at 果冻传媒麻豆社. Overseeing the use of the Kibbie Dome, ICCU Arena, theatres and multiple event areas, Cultural Events bring some of the largest and most engaging productions to campus as well as the Palouse community.

Parking and Transportation Services

果冻传媒麻豆社's Parking and Transportation team provides a full range of parking and transportation services, serving a diverse community of more than 12,000 students, faculty and staff. Parking and Transportation is dedicated to delivering transportation systems that complement long-term growth and development, and enhance and protect the physical attributes of campus and surrounding community.

U of I Golf Course

Nestled among the rolling hills of the Palouse sits the historic 果冻传媒麻豆社 Golf Course. Originally designed by Francis L. James and constructed in 1936, our golf course boasts a rich history and stunning scenery. Our panoramic vistas and the university’s arboretum create a backdrop that changes with the seasons from emerald green to amber gold.

Not only hosting a uniquely challenging course, U of I Golf Course hosts tournaments and community events year-round. Event space and a state-of-the-art indoor golf simulator keep our staff busy during the winter months.

Not merely a supplier of academic textbooks, the VandalStore houses the largest selection of VandalGear and university merchandise on the planet. The VandalStore, operated by Auxiliary Services, is dedicated to the entire Vandal family; students, alumni, staff/faculty and visitors.

Every dollar spent stays within the university to enhance and provide additional services for students. Money earned at the VandalStore contributes to student scholarships, student employment opportunities and campus organizations while directly supporting the university's various auxiliary services.

By providing convenient, user friendly, customer driven and cost-effective goods and services, Auxiliary Services supports the university's mission and enhances the Vandal experience.
